The Deltapoint costs almost twice the FFII. Is it worth the extra bucks? If you have used either of these, I would be interested in hearing the pros and cons.

Anybody willing to share their experiences with either of these optics?

I have the Burris FF II on two pistols and have had zero issues (2 yrs exp). Original battery on both, sharp dot and HOLDS A ZERO. No exp w/the Deltapoint.

Burris just introduced an updated version of the FastFire. It is of course called the "FastFire III" and has some neat revisions of the original design. I don't have any hands on with it so cannot offer an opinion.

Burris FastFire 3 offers upgraded features such as windage and elevation adjustments that don't require any special tools or additional gunsmithing. The Burris Fastfire-III 1x Reflex 3 MOA Red Dot Firearm Sight has a convenient power button with three levels of brightness, an automatic brightness setting and battery access on the top of the sight, making it easier to change the batteries.

I had a chance to play with a Deltapoint for an afternoon. It was mounted on a Sig Sauer 556 in .22lr. Probably one of the nicest holographic sights I've ever looked through. The dot was very crisp. I don't have any experience with the Burris so I can't really give you a fair comparison. Hope this helps.

Forgot to mention, depending on what you will be using the optic on, the Leupold Prismatic would be my choice over a hologaphic sight. It acts much like a holographic sight but if the batteries go dead you still have the reticle as back-up. It is a little more expensive than the Deltapoint, but it is probably what I will put on my AR when it is finished.
