Throwing around the idea of getting a bow vise. The vise that has caught my eye is the Axis Pro Bow Vise. It's a little on the spendy side for me, however.

What do you guys' like for a bow vise?? And if you have the Axis Pro, feel free to post up on that too. I would really like a vise that can adjust to hold the bow horizontally.

I have a RS vise I bought over 10 yrs ago. I also welded a 1x4" short piece of tubing to a 1x1" square tube and found a smaller tube that telescoped in that to make a horizontal holder. Made a tab and just screw a bolt into the stab hole, can turn the bow any 90deg position you need. Works well, don't have any pics of it, sorry.

I simply clamp the 1x4" tube in my bench vise when I need it.
