Just curious what anybody has been paying for LR primers lately and if prices have gone down any in your area in the last 2 years. Magnum Man

Saw that Cabela's in Boise had them for 24.95/1000 recently. Last I bought in Oregon were 2.89/100 a week ago.

Buy 'em now. I suspect they will start going back up as the election approaches.

MS, I was thinking exactly the same.Last sunday a local shop advertised CCI-200 and 400 for 19.99 a brick. I bought a sleave of the 200's and thinking of doing the same on the 400's.Magnum Man

I find it interesting that as soon as imported primers (Wolf, Tula, Cheddite and S&B) start selling in some volume, the price of domestic primers suddenly drops significantly.

Most of mine are at "least" 6 years old. I have some that are priced at $11.95 per thousand. Using them first. When ever the price goes down I buy a couple of thousand.

Just paid 34.99 for a box of WSR last weekend. That is a little higher than a year ago. We are also trying to get a little ahead of the game if, heaven help us, Hussein gets re-elected.

We only have one shop in our area that carries reloading supplies. His price is $49.99 for LR/SR and $59.99 for mags. If it gets tight again he'll just knocked the dust off and price them up. I refuse to purchase them at that price.

Just found and purchased GM215m for $46.00. Couldn't take the chance of not finding them again. The store is located in N.E. LA.

Not trying to hijack the thread but I bought som old CCi 200 at an auction a while back. I just got my new 280 AI and was using the old CCIs for fire forming cases and thought I would give the old stuff a new chance. I loaded up some R22 with the CCIs and some 120 gr Nosler BT seconds. First 3 shot group went 1/2". The next went 3/8". I loaded some 160 accubonds up with the same powder and primers and they went 3/8". Now under stand... I shake like a leaf am right handed and am left eye dominant and have no concentration any more and rarely shoot. THIS was something !! Right now, I am using powder that is dated 1975 and the price on the 100 count primer box is $.25. YUP 25 cents. Just how old are these things.... and they work perfect !!
