As to fishing on the coast, I have a 7' casting outfit that I used in AK for big river and salt water casting for salmon. Would that work for the type fising we will be doing on P.I.N.S.? Do folks cast spoons, jigs, or what from the surf? Do the better lures mimic specific baitfish? I am assuming that DuPont Spinners are not Kosher .
