looking for a smaller wall tent, a 10x10 or 10x12. Who makes a good one?

About any tent and awning company with some history in any major city. Folks here are fond of Davis which I think might be a Colorado company.

Those are pretty small dimensions for a wall tent, as they are much like motocycles and pickups. It's rare that I wish I had a smaller one. Unless one has a specific purpose (like solely reserved for equipment storage), I'd suggest rethinking the dimensions.

You might want to check out Reliable Tent & Tipi's, Teton tent, it comes in 10x10 and 12x12. One center pole, another next to the front and 4 shorter corner poles. Quick and easy set up, good for two or three hunters.

I used to run all canvas.
I switched to Cabela's alaknak.

My personal tent is the 12X12. Sleeps 3 comfortable with the wood stove. 2 (adults) is better option but it'll fit 3. I recommend the vestibule when 3 or more are using the tent.

Montana Canvas makes some nice tents. I have the 12' x 12' Spike and love it. My brother has a 10'x 10' Spike and a 12' x 17' wall tent and they are tough to beat.
Excellent customer service if or when it needs repairs.

Turn me loose, set me free, somewhere in the middle of Montana!

Davis, and unless you're only sleeping yourself, I'd go bigger than 10x12.

Also wanted to add, next month is Davis' annual "scratch, dent, and one of a kind sale". Usually some smoking deals to be had.

My brother and I bought a 12 x 16 Davis 10 or 12 years ago and it still serves us well.

It works great for 2 guys and OK for 3. Any more gets a little crowded when the wood stove is in there.
