Reluctantly selling a Browning 71 Carbine. 20 inch barrel and in standard grade. With it comes RCBS dies, Winchester Brass and some Hornady Bullets. Hard to find, they only made 3000 of these in '86 and '87. Fit and Finish is nice. $750 with everything I have for it. No extra holes and other then a few little bumps from use its in great condition. Shipping and Handling to your FFL $25. FFL signed in ink required for transfer unless your local and can pick up. Thanks, Ryan

Will take $650 for the rifle alone, if you are not interested in the loading supplies. $20 for Shipping and Handling to your FFL. Thanks, Ryan

Thanx

Avagadro-Sorry, it is chambered for the .348 Winchester. Rimmed Bottleneck cartridge. Standard loads go with a 200 or 250 gr Flat nose bullet at 2200ish FPS.

Are you an FFL holder? If not, is the rifle being shipped for you by an FFL holder?

I'm not real sure of the etiquette involved here. There appear to be people, in active negotiation, ahead of me. If you need to give them right of first refusal, I understand. I don't want to step on any toes.

At $670.00 shipped, for the rifle only......

I'll take it.

Dan, I am stepping out as much as I hate to. It looks like a great rifle and I would love to have it but the Toyota needs tires. Good luck in your negotiations. Kurt

First firm I'll take it (yours) should get it. Am I missing something?

It does not need to be shipped from an FFL, just to one.

Reloading Supplies sold as well. Thank you to all that were interested.

Johnny Nitro...

No I am not an FFL but per the BATF website I can send it out by USPS myself as a long gun but it has to go to an FFL. I have sold many firearms through AuctionArms in the past and try to stay out of trouble with the feds, its bad for my career goals besides.

Perhaps neither of you understood the earlier post. Or maybe neither of you are very familiar with how to properly complete a firearms transaction.

The BATFE and '68 GCA only require signed FFL copies to be exchanged between FFL holders ("licensees").

An FFL holder ("licensee") is not required, nor can he be compelled, to provide a non-licensee with a copy of his license.

You may want to read those two statements again and look up the pertinent BATFE regulations and appropriate sections in the '68 GCA before replying further.

Because of recent counterfeiting scams, the BATFE is currently reminding FFL holders of those regulations and encouraging them to NOT provide a copy of their license to anyone except another licensee.

You will also find that many FFL holders will no longer supply copies of their license to anyone but another licensee.

This is no different than if you were to ship your firearm to a manufacturer or gunsmith for repair or modification. How many times have you requested and received a copy of that license?

On the subject of "signed in ink" copies of an FFL. The BATFE has recently begun allowing copies of FFLs to be faxed.

Again, please read these statements over again and look up the pertinent regulations before replying. I don't want a bunch of flaming because you're unclear on these items.
