Please see prior Chicken Little threads on folks thinking martial law is inevitable and group think on gun/ammo purchasing/hoarding causing their very shortages...

Ruger is going sell what a million guns? 1.3millon this year? 6 years ago that was 3x what the largest company in the world sold in a year. Its amazing.
Anyone know what remington and Smith sold last year or projects to sell this year?

Probably those plastic mini pistols.. but if they fund the 77's and no 1's good for them

A lot of people decried Ruger getting into the budget rifle category with the American rifle. And yes, I'm sure they didn't want to ignore that category of the market. However, building a rifle that could be manufactured quickly may have played as much into their thinking as cost.

It's all the Ruger 1911's fault, they can't make them fast enough..............
Luckily for a buddy of mine, he got one this week.
