There is only one dumb question; " why didn't I ask about that?"

My idea of a trophy deer or hog mount is chicken fried, on my plate, ready to eat!

Best I could find was prob somewhere in the mid to late 1990's or 2000s as per the Winchester/USRA website the last they show was that 1991 last number was #6008296. So it appears you have a newer rifle not a "classic". As far as value can't tell you without seeing it but you can always check the auction sites.

On a sale between private parties, you'd pay $350+ for a really clean one down here. I looked at a couple at a local gun store last week. One had seen some use and was priced at $410 while the other one looked practically new and was priced at $525. I wasn't interested enough to see what they would actually sell them for.

By the book 350.00. That would be a pretty good deal in the N/W. It's not uncommon to see them with 500-600 dollar price tags at the shows. I don't know how many of them move at that price. 450.00 is probably normal with comfortable purchases a bit less.

It wasn't that long ago that a 94 .30-30 wasn't worth much more than a decent .22. There are just so many of them out there. I think you still run across some folks with the left over mindset. Or maybe they come from the southeast where they seem to have a lower market.

But all that changed when Winchester sold out to the enemy. And now Marlin has followed. Those old factory american made levers are a good investment.

The value or ANY weapon is WHATEVER THE TRAFFIC WILL BEAR, and a 2001 ISN'T a collectors item unless it's gold inlayed and covered in fine scroll engraving...it is your basic hunting shooter, so just enjoy it.
