That Kimber scope sold for $350, which was low market.

I read some less than stellar reviews on that Ultralight EFR Leupold. If I remember correctly the main dislike was a smaller eye box and less eye relief.I have never personally owned one though. For the Leupold guys here, is the VX-2 a new updated line to replace the older VX-II line? When did the VX-2 line come out? What changes were made? I'd just go to the Leupold website but I can't seem to view it, whether it's this stupid iPad or problems with the Leupold site I don't know. Any help or info will be appreciated.

Actually parallax can be just as big of a problem at shorter ranges than longer ones believe it or not. A big +1 Terry

Don't forget about the Weaver RV9 3-9x32 AO. I have the Weaver and the Leupold, but the Weaver can be bought for less. Although the Weaver is a matte finish I thought I would mention it.

Thanks for the suggestion but I think this Kimber NEEDS a gloss scope.

thanks for all the great pictures Agreed! Can't wait until mine is done and I can post some (surely lousy if I'm taking them) pics of a classy rifle.

While I'd love a gloss Diavari I believe that I've found the scope I'll be getting.
The new Leupold VX-2 3-9x33 Ultralight EFR. Part number 110822. It only comes in gloss and has a Duplex reticle.
This is the new VX-2 and not the older VX-II nor is it the older Ultralight.
