just curious how well do the 22hp's shoot in the 99's ?

Got no idea what kind of a question that is. Every rifle is different. Bore condition, bullet dimensions, shooter ability, are a few things that enter into it. I only have one 22HP and it isn't going anywhere. Haven't had much of a chance to play with it a great deal. First time out with some thrown together handloads provided round holes and a not too awful group.

I worked up a load that is equal to the one one I posted about the lighfoot mount for the 250-3000, using a stith mount and weaver k2.5 , next time I shoot will post pics

I get enough 1.25" groups @100M with select loads (70 gr. Speer or Sisk .228"/25.0gr. H-4895) to cause me to expect that level of accuracy. 50 yd. 1", and slightly less, groups with cast bullets gives reliable squirrel hunting accuracy. Who said takedown carbines don't shoot?

i considered it a perfectly legit question,i understand all the varibles,but some calibers are inherently more accurate then others,thanks for the input everyone

gnoahhh that is the same load i use in my .22hp with either the speer or hornady 70 .227 bullets.these loads chronographed at 2850 fps out of my 24 in barrel.
