You're lucky. In Colorado you only get to kill one moose in your lifetime.

I believe that's one bull moose in your lifetime.

Yes, you're right, but I figured anybody waiting that long would want a bull.

I know you've the education to make impressive photo's but just curious what you're running.

I only have the Nikon D90 but it'll outsmart me and I'll never exceed it's capabilities.

I have 8 bonus points. I apply for this coming season and purchase another bonus point. That gives me 9 and my application = 10. Then......I wait. Gotta happen before I get to blasted old. MTG

Just sayin'......

I gotta agree with you on that one, I know a couple of people up here that started getting way too lucky year after year after starting work at ADF&G.

I've drawn two moose, but sheep and goats allude me. I just shoot them with a camera, or in this case a camera phone. These were right on the mountain above my house. First time I have ever seen them there. It is a steep and rugged mountain. They aren't huge, but still very pretty. The sheep are less than 10 yards away. laugh I have some pics of these sheep with my 7 year old son between me and the sheep. They didn't seem to care at all.

I took my brother-in-law up there a couple of days later to get better pics. It was snowing lightly and the lighting was weird, but WOW, he pulled off some dandy pics. He is a professional photographer/videographer and it shows. The difference in quality of the pictures is amazing. They don't even look like the same sheep at all. Flinch

I think your pics look great. Here is another one of my crappy snap shots of a little band in Colorado. They were on a bluff where someone built a cabin. They were mowing the owners lawn. You can see the birdhouse on the tree next to them. It is pretty unusual to see them all in a line mowing the grass. laugh Flinch
