Here is my 84L in '06 Ackley. I own a reamer so it's free speed after many years. The wood was really nice on this one and the price was right $1050 with bases delivered. You can't build one like this for the price....pretty accurate too with the light barrel and all. The last shot was with a pretty warm barrel and crept up a bit.....it'll work! Regards, Rick.

The Kimber is nice but my Sako collection of the old ones...pre 1968 is pretty special. It's 100% certain nobody could make a rifle like those for two grand today. My handle stays....but the Kimber is nice. Regards, Rick.

Nice looking and shooting rifle. I wouldn't trade my Kimber Montana .223 for anything but sure wish I could find a Montana in 7mm-08 to join it.

Sorry that you, too, fell victim to the schitty Kimbers. I've got several that will shoot lights out as well, and hoping to someday get a good one.

But seriously......I agree that they are fantastic value for the money. Amazing, really.

It's kind of funny but for all the bad press they get on not being accurate, I haven't found a documented case of one not shooting close to MOA or better. Personally I don't think there is a better all around rifle for the money anywhere. Regards, Rick.
