I'm thinking about trying these in a 6.5-06.

Anyone have any experience with this particular bullet on game?

I shot 2 does this fall with a 6.5x47 using the 123 A-Max.
First one looking at me and was shot in the chest below the neck, she ran 30yds and fell. No exit.
Second one was broadside and double lung shot she ran 25yds and fell. No exit.Both where approx. 100yd shots.
I found both jackets with no lead in them.
The insides of both deer where mush.
I get the same performance using V-Maxs on deer.

Shot a pretty decent whitetail buck this year with them out of my 260. About 235 yds., right behind the shoulder and a complete pass through. Deer went maybe 10 ft. and died.

Sounds like they work OK on deer at .260 velocities.
