So I done good?!

Is the Pachmayr scope mount reliable? Anything I should know about how it functions?

One of my big gun trading mistakes was getting rid of a Mannlicher-Schoenauer full stocked 7x57 with a single set trigger. I traded it to someone in a fit of stupidity in the mid 80's.

The Pachmayr Lo-Swing mounts work great!!! I have a bunch of them and some new parts. One nice thing about them is they can work as a QD mount, as well as a swing mount. The top stage can be easily removed with the scope & rings, then a second scope can be put back on the base and snugged. They come back close to zero. I had three scopes mounted in top stages for my 375 at one time. The top mount models had low enough bases one could use his open sights with the scope swung to the side.

Just be sure the top stage snaps down into place. It will be right back dead-nuts zero.

If you ever need parts, get in touch. wink
