Being as it isn't laying around every corner, and being as a loaded box of 20 from Nosler Custom runs $89.00, I am left trying to figure out another route.
Is it possible to run 204 Ruger brass through a sizing die and come up with brass suitable?

that's what google-fu says because it's simply sized down to .204 but have no personal experience with either cartridge.

Google Huntington they show it in stock. Its a good round but brass has always been spoty. I finaly shoot my 700 out and rebarreled to 204, no regrets. I sent Sharpnels buddy MV the last new brass I had. I'll stick with 223. Although I hear of some off the wall round 223AI.

Ct, The very 1st thing you should do; is contact the appropriate friend... How much do you want? I have more than you would believe...

Go to Midsouth Shooters. They have it right now for $44.36 per bag of 100. They also say low stock.

204 isn't just .222 mag. necked down. The shoulder is moved forward also. You'd probably have to have a form die.

For what it is worth:
To get your shoulder about correct try useing your sizing die with the seating hardware in it as the first step in case forming. It is bigger in the inside neckwise since it is made to hold a loaded round. I'd leave the shoulder a little long, and finish size with the 222mag sizer die.
You'd have to try things and see what works.

Quite honestly, I have just re-sized in a FL 222 Mag. die, adjusted for a crush fit for the chamber.
I've never found it takes any steps to make, its really that easy.

Sorry guys: I'm not a good typist, and I sttur at the key board.
I ment to say use your SEATING die with its seating parts removed for a first pass.
Probably everyone new what I ment to say anyway ... correct?

I gotcha just fine. Using steps keep success levels high.
But I have never found pushing the shoulder back with the std. sizer to be an issue.
Always use new cases. I've used Nosler, Norma and Win. cases. The only ones that will give you trouble is the not so uncommon Winchesters with folds, splits and wrinkles. Of course they don't even make good 204's.
