I have Forster co ax that I use for my reloading. After getting my new 223, I would like to get a second press to devote to it, so I don't spend all my time switching parts out of the press. Any one have any recommendations on a good one. Been looking for a used rcbs on eBay, but have seen many deals. Thanks, JL

When I bought my second single stage press I went with the Lee Classic Cast and I am more than pleased. I prefer it to my old RCBS.

The Lee Classic Cast is the best value going. It is a beast for strength. But my choice was the Lee Classic Turret press. I love he ability to set my dies in the turret and then just turn the turret 1/4 turn and have the seater die ready. Not to mention having another set of dies ready to pop into the press on an already adjusted second turret. I hate to admit it, but I now have 11 turrets for my press. That means five pistol sets and 12 rifle sets at the ready. For a couple of years I would buy extra turrets every time Midway had them on sale. I finally got enough.

I bought a Lee Classic just to see what it was like. I'd just heard enough from the the folks that talk thru their wallets. It's not as finished as a press that cost hundreds of dollars more but I wasn't buying it because it was pretty. I set mine up to reload .223 ammo for my XR-100. It seems to do pretty good as I have won most of the matches I've shot in.
Aim for the exit hole.

If not reloading the bigger cases like a 375 H&H and up. I have found that my RCBS junior does just fine for all my reloading needs. Doubt I will ever need another press.

The Lee Classic can be upgraded with a Hornady bushing insert so it will accept the L-n-L quick change bushings.
I bought the Classic Cast Breach Lock, but if I could do it over, I would have gone with the original Classic Cast instead. The Lee bushings are cheaper than Hornady bushings however.

I really like my Lee Classic Cast.

Reloaders put far more agonizing in the magic qualities of a press than they require; fact is they all do very well if they are chosen and used correctly (i.e., don't get silly and use an RCBS Jr for .416 Remington nor a Redding UltraMag for loading hundreds of rounds of 9mm each week).
IF Lee had made the Classic Cast single stage (or Classic Turret) when I bought my Rock Chucker II my press would be red, the big Lee is a better press in every respect.

"You are going into a witness protection program, right? (For the record, I agree.)" I know what you mean, it does get funny don't it? Anyway, I work for a special Jewish carpenter so I have fire-proof butt!

Take a look at a Redding T-7. I've had a Lee turret, nothing wrong with them but they don't compare to the Redding.

I have a Redding Ultramag, RCBS Rock Chucker, Lyman Crusher, and a Lyman Spartan press. All are fine presses. My favorite...the Redding Ultramag.

"The Lee Classic can be upgraded with a Hornady bushing insert "
Many of us disagree that any 'bushing' system is an upgrade.
