I have a friend who owns a Stevens sxs shotgun. Are these made by Savage? Are these as collectable as the old Savage rifles?

Depends as to when it was made, condition is everything. Fox tends to be the money shotguns. Most of the Stevens are more utilitarian.

It is a Fox, I think he paid $250 for it several years ago.
