I should get to the range this weekend. Assuming multiple entries are allowed. I'll give it a whirl with the 9mm and 44 shortie. I'm thinking the 45 and 454 are gonna recoil too much for good follow up shots. Adversity doesn't build character, it reveals it.

So choose your #1 gun for your first go-through. And don't discount boomers. My best, 2.537", was done with a 6" 629 and medium-hot loads behind 240gr LSWCs: And my round with a single-action .475 Linebaugh wasn't bad, either, though one shot broke just after the buzzer. 4.572":
