Who makes the best bore guide? I finally bought my .270WSM and am setting it up.

I'm a fan of Lucas bore guides. Call Mike and he'll get you set up.

I have a different email address for Mike than what waterbug listed. It's been a couple years since I ordered a guide, so I'm not sure which email address is correct. lucasmjb windstream.net

It has been more than 2 years since I emailed him so yours may well be the current email address.

Possum Hollow make a good one - make and model specific. use them on my Sako 85 and Kimber 84M

Another vote for Possum Hollow, follow their Action/Cartridge chart for a good fit.

Lucas are great but at times hard to get, most of mine are Sinclair or Bruno's. Whatever you choose never clean without one !!!!

I like Sinclair's pretty well. Polymer with replaceable o-rings and are rifle and caliber specific. Just clean up with warm soapy water.

I think Canada makes the best bore guides.... I've been on two guided fishing trips up there where I was bored to death both times
You better pray to the God of Skinny Punks that this wind doesn't pick up......

I like the Sinclair unit with the replaceable O-ring snouts.
I can walk on water.......................but I do stagger a bit on alcohol.

If you want to spend $45 buy the Lucas. If you want to spend $15 buy the Possum Hollow. I have about an equal number of both. The knurling on the end of the Lucas makes it easier to remove but I find I don't use the rod guide that comes with the Lucas so I've probably bought my last one of those.
