Four of us put in together as a group. I see Montana is listing unsubscribed Big Game License/Tags. I assume that means we were drawn if they are unsubscribed. Any idea how long it takes for Montana to official inform us? Also, we put in for buck antelope. Any ideas on when we find out if we drew?

I looked up my drawing results on their website. It told me I got everything except my first choice elk permit. Got my deer permit in the mail yesterday. E

FWIW, I got my non-resident general elk/deer tags in the mail yesterday.
I can walk on water.......................but I do stagger a bit on alcohol.

Buddy of mines boy drew an area in the breaks (100-1 odds), same kid that caught a Marlin the first day we fished Mexico.

That's great!
I've lived in Montana all my life, and been applying for limited-permit bull elk tags for over 30 years. Never gotten one, and to tell the truth after killing one good bull in Montana without a special permit, don't much care anymore. Am happier seeing some young hunter like your buddy's son get a chance at one.
What area did he draw?
