Does anyone know how to cook turkey drumsticks where they end up tasting yummy like those you get at Bush Gardens theme parks, etc.? I've tried soaking mine in a brine solution overnight and then cooking them over charcoal, but all that does is make them taste salty and tough.

Never been to Bush Gardens theme parks. What do they taste like? Just like the ones at Disney. Smokey, tender, moist, delicious.

Maranate, boys, maranate---using liquid smoke and red wine in a ziplock bag--for 2 days in the fridge then in a slow cooker till your taste buds leap for joy.

Got a leg and half a breast in the freeze. Plan to put them in a turkey bag and put them on the grill to roast. That will add some smoke flavor. Don't like using liquid smoke.
