At 600 the dot would only cover 3/4" so it depends on what your shooting. Can't think of anybody trying to hit dimes at 600. Quarters at a 100 is all I ever see here, and everyone misses even though they have a nice little group just off to the side of it.

I like a target dot scope. Under rated in my opinion.
Need more info on your intended use...target ONLY? Some hunting? Shooting off a rest?
General purpose-all around-1/8 moa is fine.
I should have just bought a [bleep] T3...

Ive been using the 1/8" target dot since 1986, 1 scope has been on 5 guns. Its been perfect to 700 yards for my usages which is coyotes/p-dogs & Antelope. I have it on a 6x45 I built last year.
Did I make you cry......boooo hooo, life goes on.

I love the 1/8th dot, not so crazy about the Sightron. Own that model with the mil-dot reticle and absolutely love their turrets and tracking, if only the glass was better.
