well it's been a few years since this thread, and to be honest, prices on the Savage 99's have dropped a bit. They have become more affordable in light of the economy doing badly, and high gasoline prices. I picked up (2) Savage model 99's in 250-3000 for $600 and $700 each. About 3 years ago these were $900-$1200 guns.
Not anymore. There's blood in the streets.
