BRULES by Harry Combs. Somehow he got my story. Best book I ever read.

"The Last of the Breed" by Louis l'Amour is considered by many to be the best adventure novel written. I liked it. Been years since I read that. If you liked it, you might try "To the White Sea" by James Dickey, who also wrote "Deliverance."

The Devil's Brigade by GEORGE ROBERT ELFORD who claimed it was the true story of HANS JOSEF WAGEMUELLER.
German SS troops that joined the French Foreign Legion after WWII and served in VietNam.
One of the most memorable books I've ever read. Doubt you can get it on Kindle though.
