I tried a few of the TSX and TTSX and not an option as they won't stabilize in my rifle.
.243/6mm bullets, MV sub 3000 fps, game white tail deer and pronghorn sized animals, as well as varmints.
87 grain Hornady 85 grain Speer, Nosler Partition, or Sierra GK
I haven't tried the other bullets but the Sierra is shooting right at an 1" at 100 with a MV of 2900+ fps. I did pick up 100 each of the other bullets mentioned to try. Cartridge is a 6X47 Rem with a 1:12 twist. The rifle really loves 70 grain NBT's but I want a better constructed bullet if I'm going to use it on game larger than varmints.

When in doubt, use a partition. The hornady interlock would be my second choice for your application.
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

95 GR. Nosler Ballistic tip.
Edit to add; read to fast and did not notice the 1 in 12, do not know if it would work or not.

Partition...Lifes to short to [bleep] with anything else. After years of playing with rifle and bullets I have finally come to the conclusion that if a rifle won't shoot the partition well enough to hunt with I am going to sell it. I am tired of messing with stuff.

An example of one, tight behind shoulder going in, clipped shoulder on the way out. Bullet may still be going. Yes a 70gr Ballistic tip fired in a 6x45

An example of one, tight behind shoulder going in, clipped shoulder on the way out. Bullet may still be going. Yes a 70gr Ballistic tip fired in a 6x45 I killed a pronghorn buck two years ago at 300 yards with the 70 NBT and wasn't that impressed. It did the job but it exploded inside and shredded the lungs and heart, but didn't penetrate much further. Nothing would have been large enough to leave a decent sized exit from what I found of the bullet. It was a full frontal shot and the buck ran about 50 yards before piling up. I'd use it again if I had to but will take a 1" grouping bullet that holds together over a sub .5" grouping bullet any day for hunting game larger than varmints.

Not that a partition would be needed on a deer or pronghorn, but Nosler does make it in 85(?) and 95 weights. Worth a try.

Have you thought about the Speer Deep Curl? I bought a couple hundred of the 90's but have not shot them yet. They make an 80gr too. The 90's may be iffy in a 12, but you should have no problem with the 80's.
I enjoy handguns and I really like shotguns,...but I love rifles!

What rifle Taylor?
My 6x47 Kimber is a 1-9" twist and it stabilizes the 80 TTSX fine.
I'd run heavier bullets than the 80gr but my mag is too darn short.
Strangely enough, I've read several places where people claim that the 6mm Kimber of Oregon rifles were all 1-12" twist but I've measured mine half a dozen times and it's definitely a 1-9".
I just bought a 1-12" .243AI SS Hart for my old Savage and I've been wondering just how long a bullet I can run given the speed of the .243AI and the lazy twist.
I've heard a lot of good things about the 70 NBT as a WT bullet and that is one of the two I run in my Kimber.
The Chosin Few November to December 1950, Korea. I'm not one of the Chosin Few but no more remarkable group of Americans ever existed.

For hunting I use Nosler Accubonds or Partitions which work in every single rifle I own except my 30-30. It works well with Sierra FN Pro-Hunters.
Start young, hunt hard, and enjoy God's bounty.

That's why I twisted both 1-8", so as to not be limited.
