I am looking for a decent scope to put on my 22 LR (plinker). I am not looking for a high grade(expensive)scope. Something with a variable range magnification and between a 40-44 mm obj. Let me know what you have.

I can offer a classic Bushnell Banner 3X9X40 for $55 shipped. Should do well on a .22, I am thinking about mounting it on my 10-22 for plinking...

I have the next step up in Bushnell, a Banner 4-12x40 Adjustable Objective. I use these quite a lot on 22LR's and 22 Magnums. IMO and experience, adjustable parralax is really improtant on a 22LR. Also have a Weaver V-7 from the 60's. Steel tube, like new condition. If you are not that worried about adjustable parrlax, this one would be a very good one. Might be a tad out of your price range at $100.00 each shipped but would be good, quality glass for your 22.
