Yeah the Sun wasn't shining at 9 pm. grin

I'm tempted to take 1-2 outside during sunlight. Seriously it is RISKY. I've been hit twice @ motorcycles, but I got them back. mad

Thanks, Jwall. I bought 3 rifles in the past two weeks and may have to start thinning the herd. This one is under consideration, although it's mint, has great fiddleback and was accurized at Hill Country Rifles (target showing .4" spread with 130 gr. TSX).

Jwall - I sold the bipod recently so it's trimmed up. I don't have a postal scale but it's lighter than my pre-64 30/06 and has a 23" bbl. I'd say the gun is close to 8, less the scope (Zeiss Conquest 3-9x40 #4 reticle). It's has good balance.

Eric - I might be interested IF you're considering parting w/it.

My only FETISH is LIGHT. If it's -8lb w/o scope might be too heavy. Just personal preference.

I'm in no rush but if you can weigh it in the future, we can talk.

Regarless it looks GREAT.

Thanks, Jwall. I just ordered a scale as I'm curious as well. I do like the fiddleback. This one is tight and consistent all the way through the forearm.

Poobah, I'm sorry to have to tell you this, but most folks use a rest that assists in keeping the rifle upright, not horizontal. That sorta looks like a Mongangsta rest. Nice rifle though. Bet it can reach the cloud shadows...

Keep searchin' for that fencepost. I saw one up near Great Falls a few years back, and another just south of Polson.

I am..........disturbed.
