WHY WAS THE HORNADY Z-MAX DISCONTINUED? #6525471 05/21/12 Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 603 Ten Sleep, Wyoming T Ten_Sleep OP Campfire Regular OP Ten_Sleep Campfire Regular T Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 603 Ten Sleep, Wyoming My .223 Rem. shoots very well with the 40 grain V-Max and I was looking to trying the Z-Max; now I am told this line of bullets is no longer being produced.
