I have a 99c which has been rebored/chambered from 308 to 358W. Love the cartridge, like the rifle except ... about 30% of the time, rather than getting a nice clean ejection ( either chambered rounds, or emptied brass), the cartridge barely clears the action, and sometimes actually just lays in the open action. Actually, by now some of the the dummy rounds I've been using trying to source the problem are so chewed up, they may be part of the problem. Anyway, I'm thinking about replacing the ejector to see if that helps, but wonder if anyone has experience which might suggest other solutions. Thanks

I don't recall ever needing to replace an ejector on a 99, but I have a few springs. That's what I would check first.
