The bottom rifle in the 1st picture has a Rimrock stock made by Pacific Research in the state of Washington. The 2nd picture is a Rimrock stock made by Jim Borden in Pa.

The Polane T finish by Pacific research was a very fine texture and very uniformly applied and the fine cut checkering was very defined,I have never seen a stock that came close to being as nicely finished as the original Rimrocks not even close, I have 1 Pacific Research and 1 Borden left and they have been great stocks!
