Legitimate fear. Son's Model 7 .260 SS got new eyes last year along with an extra hole for 2-piece Talleys. The scope is a 2-7x32 Bushnell 3200 so you can look up the spec. Fairly fat ocular. Bolt handle barely clears the scope and I mean barely. Extra lows would not work, mediums would clear and then some. Personally I find scopes can actually be set too low for my vision/cheek position on most rifles today that have a fairly high comb compared to years ago. The low Talleys fit fine for me on the M7 and I could use the mediums as well. XtraLows would have me squeezing my cheek down. FWIW.

That's kinda what I thought. In shouldering my rifle, I feel that the Med rings would be better. I have the low Leupold rings on my pre-64 and it is real tight with a32mm VX-III

I have been ordering mine from SWFA Outdoors, fast shipping, one set had a wrong part,I contacted Talley and they sent a new one, no charge and didn't request the wrong part back. Very happy with the light weight one piece mounts on my Cooper rifles.
