Worth the price of $80 per pair?

It only hurts for a little while...I like the ones I have on my rifles.

I really like em, hate the price. To soften the blow, I used some cabelas bonus bucks when I bought them... But, they are very nice.

When I was crossing the border into Canada, they asked if I had any firearms with me. I said, "Well, what do you need?"

Yes, they are very nice and quite functional, I only run a few pair on some real purty walnut stocked rifles.

Keep a lookout in the classifieds, I've seen 'em go for around half of retail there.

Nicest scope covers out there. Don't know why more companies don't thread the inside of the eye piece and ocular to offer a similar product.

Many will post on here saying to get the Butler Creeks for less, but- the Leupold Flip ups are far and away better. Just a heavier price tag and weight.

The front objective ones seem to stay closed pretty well, but the ocular seems to open a bit too easy with a little bump or brush against a coat, or coming out of a case sometimes. Hard to beat the price & solid performance over many years of the Butler Creeks.

I've only got the one set on a 3.5-10x40. I also need to gorilla glue the magnets back in the ocular side, as they came loose. They ain't Leupold's best effort. Idea is nice, but they could use some more R&D tweaking, IMO.

I love mine...have them on all but one rifle. Workk great hunting in the very cold weather in northern Alberta.....no issues.

Worth the $$$$ IMO, why cheap out on the Butler's....yes they work but the Leupolds fit/finish sure stand out.

Leap, you seen them on one of my rigs, but that was down by the river so you were likely a bit foggy...

I liked them enough that I'll be buying more.... long story. But they are spendy little bastids, no doubt about it.

I just got a new VX6 and to my surprise Leupold doesn't make them for this line of scopes yet. I've used Butler Creek caps in the past and they work OK but I would gladly pay more for a better fitting, better closing, and MUCH better looking cover.

Butler Creeks cover that beautiful Gold Ring. I bought a set of the Leupold's for the Kimber Classic and love 'em.

I see Swarovski has entered the market offering a flip-back cap for their scopes. Rather proud of them too at $99 each....

I have a couple sets. Tha magnetic closure are much better than the BC. That. bring said, I have two sizes of Leupold scopes thus two set of flip covers are usable for many rifles.

Please help me with this. It's hard to believe, but I can't find any videos of how to properly clean and lube my new Dillon XL 650 reloading machine! Can you send this question out and hopefully someone can help with at least some pics, but hopefully a video. What brand of grease do you recommend, etc. Thank you very much!
