I bet she is good at her job! I have a couple, They have special meanings to me and I wouldn't change them if I could. My girlfriend has a few, that she loves. You can't see mine unless I take my shirt off, and the only ones my girl has, that are visable(barely) are on the bridge of her foot and behind her ear. I'm a firm believer if you follow three rules tattoo's are great! 1.) Be somewhat sober when getting one. 2.) Don't get one anywhere a judge could see. 3.) Make sure it is spelled correctly. I'm a professional, who own's my own business and I don't think anyone of my client's even know I've got tattoo's.
And why is it that you choose not to show clients? Well for starters I don't wear backless clothing and second of all my tattoo's are covered by my normal everyday clothes..it's not a matter of deliberately hiding them. I'll take your word for it. Many wouldn't. Cheers.

Even more shocking is I have my nose pierced too *gasp, shock, horror* Oh and as to the lawyers/attorneys I gather by your comments that all of them have walked around the office's naked so you know 100% that they don't have any tattoo's anywhere on their bodies..
