I have an older Redfield 3-9 scope that I could use a little help determining the value of. It has 3x-9x Redfield marked on the side. I think it's a WideField, but doesn't indicate it in writing. The reticle is duplex, has some marks on the outside, but the lenses are clean. I also have some old, slightly rusted Weaver rings that it was in. I've seen "vintage" scopes for sale, but can't really determine if they're worth the prices people have asked.

Any idea what it's worth?

If it has the rectangular ocular lens it is a widefield. It was just a marketing gimmick that really did nothing and diminishes the value. If all the glass is perfect, clean inside, no bad ring marks, the adjustments track and the POI does not change as you zoom it, it is a $70-100 scope.

yep, 70-100 is about right.. I have a few of these, and have sold/traded a few. I have sold mine at right about 85 bucks shipped.

I like Your idea of selling that scope.
I think you can get more money out of it from someone who likes old Redfields than it's "worth" as a practical scope.

He could if it were an early 26mm tube Kollmorgen/Redfield but widefields are not in any demand
