Taking a Medic Course and claiming a 300-F-1/18D MOS are two completely different things... Claiming 300-F-1/18D MOS for an SF/SO Medic means first and foremost that you are an SF Soldier and a medic second...

To hold the MOS you need a lot more than just the Medic Course... One would have to complete Airborne Training, SOPC and SFAS at Benning... SFQC Phase I at Rowe, SFQC Phase II at Bragg, SFQC Phase III at an undisclosed location and SF Language School at Bragg...

Airborne, SPOC, SFAS and SFQC Phase I would all have to be completed before you could continue on with a 300-F-1/18D MOS...

To be a Medic assigned to an SF Group for training purposes does not constitute a 300-F-1/18D MOS... It just means you are a body filling an empty gap...

Of course you knew all that...

Odd that you didn't mention your 300 F-1 (18D) MOS in this post... As much as you like to pat yourself on the back I doubt you would have missed the chance to flaunt your 18 series MOS to the masses...

hell, if you look up my primary MOS as 91C, that was changing as my class was next to the last class that it was a year long course.. after that, it dropped to a 4 month course and was a LOT less in depth...

you look at a 91C now, the MOS is something like a diesel truck mechanic...

so you want to go nose to nose on this.. lets start with getting a point of reference there..

I know what I took, when I took it, why I took it and the reasons it was offered for me to take it...and you to claim other wise...well we'll see won't we...

I also listed 54 E... I was told to take that course.. never served in the capacity, but the unit needed one 'just in case' and me running the med section at our Chopper Unit, HHQ... the C.O. picked me...

bottom line, I am sure it pisses you off I took the course, just because you'd like to see one of Scthick's critics 'discredited'...

Normal thinkers would be inclined to believe that in open forum or by PM, the question had not been answered. perfectly fits with your opinion, that I can take a 91B, 91C, 91S, 54E.. and you don't question that.. but you see something you think is more highly regarded, and then suddenly that doesn't fit your perception as I deserve credit for it, so you wanna start ragging on it?
