Barkoff, it is a Wild West Guns Marlin Co-Pilot in 457 magnum. The 457 magnum is about a .10 longer than a 45-70. Power difference between it and a 45-70 is negligible. 1800 fps with a Alaska Bullet Works 405 grain bonded bullet is more than enough for plains game.

Heres another one for you....hardly a "hero" shot, smaller and not as pretty leopard as the one posted above...and alot more shot up...After 21 hours on the track of this wounded leopard we are just two tired, very tired, hunters...happy to have no scratches....
