Got a mill, eh? Is it a J-lock? That's the one thing... well, one of the things... I'd like to change on my M7. Last time I googled I didn't see a replacement available from the usual suspects.

I replace valve cover gaskets every 50K, if they don't need them sooner...

I'd rock that... in fact, I have one that's close... ADL SS barreled action in a Mickey Mountain Rifle with a 3-9x Conquest. I had to run Leupy DDs, though, as I can't get a Conquest far enough forward.
No flutes or bowling ball, though. At least not yet on the flutes.

Jeff_O, I got a replacement for a J-lock from Gre'-Tan Rifles...complete assembly that weighed significantly lighter than the original.

Looks great, you've got some skills.
I cannot understand why Rem. dropped the stainless M7.
Or why they don't offer it in .250 and 257 RBTS

Very nice rifle. What does she weigh now?
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA
