I picked up the Wby today and put a Nikon 3x9 Monarch on it. I have looked it over and the dealer looked it over and we can't find a spot on it anywhere. It comes with all the regular paperwork and even inlcludes a set of quick release swivels. It is a made in the USA action. The add said they are marked 2nd inside the action but I can't find that either. The label on the box has a red "2nd" on it but that is the only place I can find it anywhere. It has a nice matte blue finish and a gold Weatherby "W" on the trigger guard. Overall an excellent deal I think. I will hopefully be able to get to the range this weekend and let you know how it shoots. WOW, What a deal!
If I did not already have a Mod 70 in 264, I'd be looking to pick up one of these.
One might wonder if the rifle is considered a second, only because it did not sell at the original price.

I'm sure you will enjoy it. A few years back I ordered a fibermark in .243 and I am nothing but pleased. I think I paid somewhere nine-fiftish for mine. I bought it with yotes in mind and it often rides in the rig, unless it's bear or deer season. Good Shooting..........Essex

The sneakers are aftermarket accessories. They can be bought if the price is right. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> They are also good for keeping deer away from your friends stand.

I usually go to the range in the National Forest to sight in. You need to go early during the week to avoid the kooks.
