Can't remember the magazine, but it had a article about the new Remington 7500 Woodsmaster and it listed a carbine in .308, 30/06 and 35 Whelen. Anyone know anything about it? No info on Remington's website yet.

I saw the same cover page on the magazine and glanced through it at Walmart. Curious too. Been wanting a 7600 and wondering if they will update that one too. h
Other than that, How was the show Mrs. Lincoln?

I think you're talking about the 7400, which is the Woodsmaster, and it will be only chambered 30-06, for the carbine, anyway. per remington CS. JAG

I just got my January issue of Rifle in the mail today. They have a short piece on Remington's new Model 750 Woodsmaster. Apparently its an improvement on the 7400 its replacing.

While semi-autos aren't my cup of tea for hunting, I handled one of these last weekend. It was chambered in .35 Whelen. Guys, I am very impressed. Fit and finish were outstanding. The trigger was fine as well. So for you "double tappers", this might be worth a look see. I think Remington did good with this one.
