I have had this rifle for 4 years, but have shot less than 50 rounds through it as I have been involved with other projects. I've found another 257R and need to sell this one to fund the new rifle. Great classical custom work by a little known gunmaker who deserves more recognition, as this rifle shows. A great find for one of us 257 Bob loonies. Description: 24" round barrel. Figured walnut stock with borderless classic wrap-around point-pattern checkering, beaded cheekpiece, inletted swivel studs, steel-capped pistol grip and checkered wood butt finished with steel heel & toe plates. 14"pull. Yugoslav Model 1924 Mauser 98 action manufactured by FN, with Model 70-type safety, Timney trigger, Blackburn-type hinged floorplate and checkered bolt knob. Weight - rifle with bases, no scope: 8lbs, 5oz. 99%+blue. Vic Olson Mauser Right Vic Olson Mauser Left Action Detail Right Action Detail Left Front Swivel Base Cheekpiece and Buttplate Scope in photos not included. $2200.

Thanks guys. It's a great rifle. I just like lighter rifles in this caliber, because I deer hunt with 257Rs. By chance I found a light, classic one yesterday I like, after a long search. So regretfully, I need to sell this one to fund the other. A rifle loony's life!
