Hi from Australia - i have a dilema - my partner shot her first buck this year in our fall ( March 2012 ) and my Leica Geovid BRFs got a hammering from her both in use and abuse - i was thinking of getting her a basic pair of 8x42 or 10x42 range for her to sit with next year ( we sat together this year and shared binos) .I dont want to skimp too much and want her to still have a last light option for a big stag but i don't expect whatever i buy to last too long in the first few years - after she learns how to treat a pair of binos i will step her up. Was looking at Nikons above - what are they like any suggestions or experiences ?
