These broods came strolling through the back yard this morning. I've been catching glimpses of them but this is the first time they all came together for a family photo. One of the old gals has 9 poults (some are hiding), the other two have 4. I don't feed but they like the fresh cut grass.

That's pretty cool. We've been having 2-4 hens come out every morning and evening but haven't saw any poults.

Always looking though.

I went to the city landfill Friday & there was mom & her little ones running around. They seem to be showing up everywhere. Haven't seen little pheasants & quail yet but they have to be out there. Here in N.W. Kansas we are having no rain & heat wave up to 112 so hope they can find water to survive to fall
