The fires are about 2.5 hours away, but my family has all of our schit packed up and ready to hit the road if need be.

My sis is only a 1/4 mile from the inferno and keeps asking me to pray. Last word, the winds were driving it northward away from them. They're still eating smoke.

It's freaking heart breaking to see those pictures of people's homes just torched down. I can't imagine losing everything! Hope she is doing okay, we just need some damn rain.

I don't know if it'll ever stop blowing around here. Every single day at about 11:00 AM the winds just start whipping.
