Has anyone had a chance to look at the new Sitka Gear waterfowl line? I have been impressed with optifade open country and think it works well. If anyone has any experiance with it please give shout.

This covers it pretty well. I have a few pieces pre ordered. Everything I have in Sitka works great and I expect the Waterfowl line to follow in suit.

You guys are nuts to spend that amount of money on clothes to hunt dumb birds. laugh I can maybe see the use in that stuff for climbing mountains, but waterfowl ???

I like Drake stuff myself. You can tell that who ever designed it duck hunts.

No worries. He has no idea how much fun you can have with a 3.5 month season, and a bag limit of 7.

ND...*ahem*.....Might be a duck or two that flys through here in the Fall. wink

Early Canada goose season gets cranked up Aug 15...Limit of 15 this year. Early hatch and early small grains harverst will make it a banner early season; stubble fields everywhere and geese are already flying around pretty good.

Our early season starts around mid Sept. Haven't seen the info posted yet.
Have a great season. Hopefully we get lots of birds down this way.
