My girlfriend and I have been looking to get a new puppy to keep around the house and help me in the grouse woods. Well, we picked her up this morning.

Meet Maggie, our 3 month old English Setter. She has been here all of three hours and has completely fit in. I think we'll keep her smile

Great name, but then I am partial to it!

Love all these new puppy pictures!

Updated pic of Maggie at 5 months. She's really starting to show her personality now.

Don - I don't know too much about lines in general, but her grandfather was Tekoa's Diamond Cutter. I got her from a first litter out of WV.

Pretty dog..you will appreciate the mostly white coat if you hunt her in thick stuff.

Thanks fella's.

Ingwe, most of the stuff around here is pretty thick varying to too thick where most of the birds are.

Its gonna be a learning experience with the briars too, I've never had a long haired dog.

Dad has had English Setters for 40 yrs or so. Great dogs. The briars aren't the big issue, it is the burs, man you spend hours cleaning them out of their hair.

Thanks fella's, she's been pretty darn good so far. I think I'm going to use this thread to document her progress for a while.
