Considering buying a Knight Revolution muzzleloader with the DISC primer.

However, I always worry that years down the line, someone will invent a better priming system and I won't be able to get those little plastic bits that hold the 209 primer.

If that happens, is the Knight DISC rifle a wall hanger?

My buddy's selling a stainless/laminate Knight Revolution. If you're looking for one, shoot me a PM with your contact info and I'll hook you up.

I have an older model with the oval DISC and don't think they wear so well.

You could always take some of the plastic ones to a machinist and get brass replacements made.

I bought a Revolution recently , and yup , there is no way the gun would function without the plastic thingys .

If you are worried about it , buy up several hundred disks and it they should last you a lifetime ............shucks , it's half a days work just to get off ten shots for sighting in with these muzzleloading contraptions (grin)

I was all set to buy the Revolution, but the clerk at the store said he thought they might have a T/C Omega with the regular, non-thumbhole stock (I'm left-handed) somewhere in the back room. They did, and I ended up buying it instead.

I REALLY liked the looks and handling of the Revolution, but decied I liked having a visible hammer and non-DISC 209 priming of the Omega.
