I have a friend that hunts with those guys and has a couple of their rifles. They shoot like crazy. I shot his 270wby once and i know i was flinching when i put the first 3 downrange as it was the first time i had handled the rifle and first 3 times i had pulled the trigger. Group still went about a half inch. He also had a 300 rum, which i didnt care to shoot

I own seven of them. As others have said they are very accurate and well put together rifles.

A friend of mine has a 7 WSM, it shoots great and looks great. They use all the good components (McMillan, Borden, Hart etc).
They are about $1,000 higher than most, but they do load development and you can get a rifle in a few weeks, and that is certainly worth a premium.

I couldve bought a mcwhorter but it was about a grand more than a Gradous build! I'll be damned if it's a thousand better in anyway
And Gradous shot my rifle with me and worked up three loads

McWhorters are nice rifles but they seem a little high. Ive always wondered why everything he builds has a brake on it?? Anybody know? I've never seen a brake on an 7-08

Re-worked Remington is not 5 grand. I have known Tim and Allan for several years now and I have several of their rifles. I have hunted with them in the MidWest and South Texas. They are standup guys that are extremely passionate about rifle building and especially hunting(You should see the trophy room) They are serious about selling customers what works and will not do so until they have fully tested the products. Everyone jumped on the Berger bandwagon but they would not load any of them until they got confirmed results for themselves. I proceeded to shoot about 50 hogs and not until then did they start loading and hunting with them. You can't go wrong with a McWhorter.

And Gradous shot my rifle with me and worked up three loads I agree. Borden, Rock, McM Edge, and all other accessories built by one of the best Smiths in the country would be ~$1500 less than McWhorter. That said, they do have some nice rigs and from their descriptions, they shoot. loder
