The owner of the company I work for is a salmon fishing fool. Actually, that's not entirely correct, he's a fishing fool-period. Anyway, he invited me to bring my family out for an evening of fishing on Lake Michigan yesterday. We accepted the invitation happily and my son and daughter had a great time. Heck, we all did. I really appreciate my boss taking us out for an evening of memory making.

The fishing wasn't all that great due to a storm that dumped lots of cool rain on the water just a few hours before we went out, but the kids did boat 3 small lake trout.

Wow! That is a fantastic way to acquaint kids with fishing, and at the same time have a truly wonderful time together. Your kids really looked happy! When we get old, it is the little moments that we spend with them that they'll truly remember. Thanks for sharing!
