When it's too hot for good beer, it's too hot for beer. Time for H2O and Gatorade. Yep, if I drink one beer in the heat it's insta-headache.

I drank a lot of Keystone Premium and Keystone Ice back in high school. I do not like it. Did not care back then.
The only light beer I drink is Miller Lite when it is hot. At least it tastes a little like beer.
Fat Tire is my new favorite; cannot get it in PA.

There isn't one person out of a thousand that could tell the difference between keystone light and coors light, there likely isn't any difference to begin with, it probably comes out of the same vat. I can! I'm not sure if i'm bragging here or confessing a horrible secret, but I unfortunately have drank enough of the two to tell them apart.

Dammit, I went out and bought some in the interests of science. Not the store with the 20 packs for $9, I ended up spending $4.95 for 6 20oz cans. Right up there with Shaefer's, our cheap beer of choice in college. That brought back memories, back when we were fourteen or fifteen Boonesfarm's Apple and Strawberry Hills were pretty much what everyone started with. When you did shortly graduate to beer, all us newbies drank Schaeffer, on account of it didn't bring on "beer face" near as much as did Budweiser, which back then was the standard for "real" beer, to high school kids anyway. IIRC Carling Black Label was always cheapest, and Wild Turkey was the standard hard liquor of choice for the teen set. But I digress... At the store the coolers were stocked left to right, premium beers at the left end, cheapest beers at the right end. So I had to go to the right of all them beer snobs buying Bud, Miller, and Coors Lites. The taste? Definitely didn't bring back memories of Schaefer. Certainly beer, but only just, and with an aftertaste reminiscent of dish water. Thanks fer the recommendations but I ain't gonna be part of Kieth Stone's crowd. But wait.... There was one other kind of beer in the cooler EVEN FURTHER TO THE RIGHT (ie cheaper) than Keystone Lite.... OLDE ENGLISH MALT LIQUOR OK guys, since we have a panel of experts here, whats the verdict on THIS one? (note, it also comes in 40oz bottles packaged in a paper bag). Birdwatcher

Old English AKA OE AKA The Eight Ball AKA The Stank Breath is one of, if not the, finest malt liquor every produced.
I have literally drank hundreds of gallons of it. The mere sight of it brings back a total lack of memories.
It will always have a warm spot in my heart.

My impression is that the guys pulling from the above cooler all drove themselves to the store, meaning they had a fixed abode, access to a running vehicle, and SOME source of steady income, if only Section 8, food stamps and dealing drugs. OE Malt Liquor however, I'm pretty sure its what the homeless guys buy after hustling up the change in the parking lot out front. YMMV of course, Birdwatcher

What's worse than OEML? This: I've seen a thirsty guy who would drink almost anything (Milwaukee's Best and Schaefer were his staples, PBR was his special treat when he felt spendy) throw away a 40 of ice cold Big Jug after two swigs.
