Don't think there's going to be a run this time.
I think people are seeing it's the same old crud, with the usual dancing in the blood by the usual nitwits, nitwits that don't have the political pull they thought they had.
I'm in the camp thinking, DANG there should have been someone there to shoot back. Theatre seats give excellent visual cover, if not bullet proof. You'd have a chance, and I know I would have taken my chance. No doubt.

While gun sales in Colorado jumped significantly in the days after the shooting, sales in California haven't increased as sharply, officials say. In other words, a non-event. Oh wait, we read it somewhere so its GOT to be true,.... Yawn. GTC

Judging by the crowds at our large area metro area gunshow yesterday and the seemingly larger number of vendors tied up on the registration lines, there has been at least a mini-boomlet in sales here.
The air in that place was nasty at 1000 and headed towards unbreathable by late afternoon. They hold these shows almost every other month now and in the past August shows were not that well attended due to vacations and miserable heat.
"Guns Save Lives" stickers were being handed out.

I think that most of us who have been through the Clinton presidency and following Obama's first election now have a good supply of reloading stuff on hand. There are always new comers that are starting to get in on buying stuff. The sellers want to create a boom for them by creating a run on ammo and reloading supplies. Hopefully it won't be so bad.
